What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites work properly and can also be used to understand how visitors use a site.

Cookies we use

At present, this website sets no cookies at all. It stores nothing on your device — no cookies, no local storage — and we use no analytics or advertising trackers.

Two things are worth being clear about, because they involve other companies:

Payment pages. When you click Checkout, you are taken to Stripe's own website to pay. Stripe sets its own cookies on its own pages, including ones needed for fraud prevention and security. That is governed by its cookie and privacy policies, not ours.
Fonts. Our pages load their typeface from Google Fonts. This does not set a cookie on your device, but Google does receive your IP address when the page loads.

Why there is no cookie banner. UK law (PECR) requires consent before setting non-essential cookies. Because this site sets none, no consent banner is required and this notice is sufficient. This changes the moment you add Google Analytics or any advertising pixel — at that point you must add a real consent banner that lets visitors refuse, and the refusal must be honoured before the tracker loads. If you add analytics later, tell me and I will update this page and build the banner.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Since this site sets no cookies, blocking them will not affect how it works. Blocking cookies on Stripe's payment pages may stop you from being able to pay.

Changes

If we start using cookies, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
